Life in the Sonoran desert is varied and lush. It's a
thrill to share space with such a diverse selection of
nature's fellow animals.
javelina, bobcat, deer, fox, coyote, and quail are frequent
visitors, and birds of many species are constantly advertising
their presence.
We are very proud that National Geographic Television has chosen Crickethead Inn as location for filming the Sonoran Desert segment of their new series "Deserts of the Americas".
They did some filming in March and will return for more filming in June and July 2011. This will result in our being full for about four weeks but please do not hesitate to call for other days beginning available July 23, 2011.
